CONTROL CABLE · LSZH · GB/T 9330-2020 · TYPE TEST 202521001018
LSZH Control Cable — with the test report, not just the claim.
Low smoke zero halogen flame-retardant control cable for tunnels, metros, data centres and public buildings. Our WDZC-KYJY passed a complete third-party type test against GB/T 9330-2020 — smoke transmittance 80 % against a 60 % requirement, bunched flame class C, halogen-free. The measured values are published below.

§02 — Product range
The WDZ family — built on the same compounds.
LSZH control cable, class C
XLPE insulation, polyolefin sheath, 450/750 V. The tested construction shown on this page. Screened variants WDZC-KYJYP / KYJYP2 for EMI-sensitive loops.
LSZH power cable 0.6/1 kV
Low-smoke halogen-free power distribution for buildings and tunnels; single and multi-core, armoured options.
LSZH fire-resistant cable
Adds fire-resistance (circuit integrity during fire, IEC 60331) on top of LSZH and flame-retardant ratings, for life-safety circuits.
§03 — Standards
Verified against these standards.
§04 — Applications
Where LSZH is not optional.
Metro station and tunnel control circuits
Emergency lighting, ventilation and fire-alarm control loops where smoke and halogen limits are mandatory.
Data centre control cabling
BMS and environmental monitoring control circuits in white space where corrosive gas is unacceptable.
Hospitals and public buildings
Life-safety control wiring in occupied buildings — low smoke protects escape routes.
Airport and railway control panels
Signalling and interlocking control cables with low-smoke halogen-free requirements.
§05 — FAQ
Common questions on LSZH control cable.
What does LSZH mean, and how is it different from flame-retardant and fire-resistant?
They are three different properties. LSZH (Low Smoke Zero Halogen) describes what the cable emits when it burns: little smoke and no halogen acid gas (verified by IEC 61034 and IEC 60754). Flame-retardant (ZR) describes how well the cable resists flame propagation (IEC 60332). Fire-resistant (NH) describes whether the cable keeps working during a fire (IEC 60331). A cable can carry one, two or all three ratings — our WDZC-KYJY is LSZH + flame-retardant class C.
Which standard does the WDZC-KYJY control cable comply with?
GB/T 9330-2020 for the control cable itself, plus IEC 60332-3 class C for bunched flame performance, IEC 61034 for smoke density, and IEC 60754 for halogen acid gas. The complete type test was performed by Qingdao Product Quality Testing Research Institute (CNAS L1184) — report No. 202521001018.
What sizes and core counts are available?
450/750 V control cables from 2 to 61 cores, 0.75–10 mm², copper class 1 or class 5 conductors, with or without copper-tape or braided screen (WDZC-KYJY / WDZC-KYJYP / WDZC-KYJYP2). Confirm the core count and screen requirement with your RFQ.
Can you issue the type test report to our inspector?
Yes. The full report No. 202521001018 is shared with the formal offer and included in the shipping document package on request. Third-party witnessed tests (SGS / BV / Intertek) are available for project orders.
Is LSZH more expensive than PVC, and when is it mandatory?
LSZH compounds cost more than PVC, typically adding 10–20 % to the cable price. It is mandatory in most tunnel, metro, data centre, hospital and marine specifications, and wherever IEC 60364 or the local fire code limits smoke and corrosive gas in occupied escape routes.
