CABLE MANUFACTURING PROCESS
From Approved Specification to Finished Cable Drum
The production route changes by cable family. Lulian Cable controls materials, conductor construction, insulation, cabling, sheath, testing, marking and packing against the approved order.
Approve the Construction First
Production should not start from a short model name alone. The approved description defines the materials, dimensions, standard, marking and test requirements.
Key Stages in Cable Manufacturing
The exact sequence depends on whether the product is wire, power cable, control cable, armored cable or another construction.

Drawing and Conductor Preparation
Conductor material, wire diameter, strand construction and resistance are checked against the approved specification.

Stranding and Cabling
Individual wires or insulated cores are assembled according to the required conductor class and cable design.

Insulation and Material Processing
Material type, thickness, surface quality and in-process parameters are controlled for the ordered construction.

Insulation Defect Screening
Applicable in-process checks help identify insulation defects before subsequent production stages.

Sheath, Marking and Reeling
Final sheath, printed identification, length and drum requirements are matched to the approved order.

Inspection, Packing and Delivery
Final checks cover appearance, marking, length, labels, packing and agreed documentation before release.

ORDER CONTROL
Project Requirements Stay Connected to Production
Our production and sales teams use the approved order information to coordinate construction, identification, packing and delivery.
- Approved cable datasheet and construction
- Applicable standard and inspection plan
- Customer marking and label requirements
- Drum length and packaging method
- Required reports and shipment documents
Prepare the Specification Before Production
Send the model, voltage, conductor, cores × size, materials, standard, quantity, marking, drum length and destination.
