APPLICATIONS · SOLUTIONS BY INDUSTRY
Cable solutions by industry — conditions first, products second.
Every industry imposes its own combination of voltage, mechanical load, temperature and fire-safety requirement. Start from your conditions, then let the cable follow. Each solution page below spells out the environmental demands, the recommended cable families and why, plus a selection checklist.
§01 — Solutions
Pick your industry.
Utility Power Distribution
6–35 kV feeders, ring mains and substation connections — U₀/U choice, direct burial vs duct, screen earthing.
Industrial Plant Power
MV intake and 0.6/1 kV feeders, screened control cable for automation, EMC separation, rubber cable for mobile plant.
Buildings & Infrastructure
Building wire, LSZH in occupied areas, fire-resistant circuits for fire pumps and smoke extraction.
Renewable Energy
Wind and solar collection circuits at 20–35 kV, voltage-drop sizing, UV and temperature derating.
Mining, Oil & Gas
Armoured MV feeders, LSZH in confined spaces, flexible cable for mobile plant, aerial and fibre routes.
Telecom & Fiber Networks
GYTA/GYTS/GYTA53 duct and burial, ADSS/OPGW aerial routes, composite cable for smart grid.
§02 — How we work it
Three questions and we can propose a construction.
What is the system?
Voltage, earthing method, fault level, load profile. These set the cable class and screen size.
Where does it run?
Burial, duct, tray, aerial, tunnel — and the soil thermal resistivity or ambient temperature that goes with it.
What must survive?
Fire performance, mechanical abuse, oil, UV, rodents. Each maps to a sheath or armour choice.
